100 Days of Meditation: 75 Day Update

It’s been almost 2 1/2 months since I began meditating regularly. Time spent oh so wisely! In my last update, I outlined some of the effects I felt after just 3 weeks of meditation. I’m happy to report that things have continued to improve for me, and I can’t imagine my life without this daily practice.

Review: Well Scent Essential Oil Blends

When I visit Rosemary, a family friend and my favorite massage therapist, I like to explore her giant carrying case of essential oils. Until recently, my knowledge of them has been limited, but my curiosity has always been high. Through this treasure trove of sacred oils, I discovered my love of red mandarin oil, the complex sensuality of ylang ylang, and the deep soulfulness of frankincense. This exploration awakened my latent interest, sparking into a new passion for me.

I think I share similarities with others who are interested in essential oils but haven’t taken steps forward to learn more: 1) I felt overwhelmed by all the choices and didn’t know where to start. 2) I had a lot of other interests I was already invested in at any given time. 3) They are a serious monetary investment if you want the good stuff. And believe me, you want the good stuff!

100 Days of Meditation: 3 Week Update

Just before the New Year hit, I set an intention for 100 days of meditation. For something so spontaneous, I can’t believe how well it stuck. I think that shows that I don’t always respond best to things that are meticulously planned and prepared for. I’ve always given myself space instead of rushing into changes because I know that I always make the move, without procrastination, when I’m ready. Giving myself time, and not making myself feel guilty or like a failure, has always served me well with my life choices.

Guest Post on the Purely Elizabeth Blog

I’m inside taking a break from the waves right now (vacation, yeah!) to tell you about a very special article I wrote for Purely Elizabeth‘s Wellness Wednesdays. If you follow my blog, you’ll know that I am recovering from toxic mold, which caused havoc to my gut and adrenals. This winter, my doctor ordered some tests (ones that I’d gotten a few years back) to see if conditions in my gut were still in need of healing since I’d hit a plateau in the progress in my health.
