2 Essentials for New Year’s Resolution Success

As another year draws to a close, I am carving out time to reflect on the past year, set intentions for the coming year, and choose a word or words as my focus for 2017.

New Year’s resolutions are a cool concept, but most people lose steam a couple weeks in. I’ve found there are two constants that, before I even take any concrete steps, must be in place to keep my intentions rolling along.

Where I Am Now + My Feature in Edible Allegheny

Hi, all!

It’s been pleasantly productive over here with an abundance of fulfilling work being done, but oh how I’ve missed spending time on this blog. I haven’t even written about my word of the year/yearly focus as I did with last years “soften,” which was only the first of three words that fostered my personal evolution in 2015.

While 2015 was centered inward, 2016 has been all about branching out beyond myself. Continue reading

Thoughts on Living My Purpose

Hello, friends!

I’m wrapped in a robe and snuggled up with the furbaby today. Winter finally has a firm grasp on us. I can’t say I’m exactly thrilled. I love glistening snowscapes and crisp morning walks, but these negative temperatures are huge energy-robbers for chronic fatigue. So, mixed feelings. It’s an army of essential oils, potent plant foods, herbal support, and green juices over here. Nevertheless, my hibernation tendencies have kicked in. I’ve cozied into this extra quiet time with loving focus on inner healing and creative expression, and it feels so good.

You know those moments when synchronicities are coming left and right, and inspiration is rolling as freely as perfect poetry does from the tip of your tongue? Oh, I’m so there right now. Continue reading

My Vegan Coaching Gift to You

Hello everyone! As 2015 winds down, I take time to reflect on another year passed. I think about who I’ve become, all I’ve accomplished, and where I’ve come short. What a wild one. How about you?

While the New Year is an arbitrary division of time (all is connected!), I never refuse an opportunity to discover more of myself, learn from the past, and dream big for the future. I also look for people that I can reach out to, people who will help me to grow in ways that I seek. Having new friends, business partnerships, and mentors is important for growth.

I know that many of you have resolutions for 2016 like:

  • making healthier eating choices,
  • losing or gaining weight to feel more comfortable in your body,
  • choosing to live more mindfully, or
  • living more in harmony with nature.

I have been so touched by hearing people’s fearless, heart-centered resolutions in these past weeks that I’m inspired to offer a gift to new clients: Contact me before January 10 for 20% off my coaching packages.

This is for those of you who want to go vegan for animals, to choose plants for vitality, do their part to save the planet, find peace in a chaotic world. I started Vegan and Beyond Lifestyle Coaching to be a source of guidance for you. If that is what you need as we embark on 2016, please reach out and begin the year with unbridled hope and possibility!

October Favorites

I’ve been wanting to start a monthly favorites post for a long time. It’s a great opportunity for readers to get to know the author of a blog and on the flip side it’s a fun way for the author to share what’s been lighting up their world lately. Since October was a month full of even more gratitude than usual, I figure there’s no time like the present. So, without further ado, here are my October favorites!

Note: This is not a sponsored post, but simply a sharing of my very favorite things of this month. If I ever feature a sponsored product, it will be clearly stated. Enjoy! Continue reading
